NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing

The NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing is a General Dental Council (GDC) approved and recognised dental nursing qualification which covers all material described in the course syllabus.
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare student dental nurses to work in the dental clinic so they can demonstrate the highest standards in relation to knowledge, skills, and professional attributes.
People who join the dental nursing courses are required to work as trainee dental nurses for the duration of the course, and this allows them to complete the practical assignments called the Records of Experience and their dentist must sign after each assignment.
Students must be happy to work as part of a team and willing to learn.
They must be capable to understand the science behind dentistry. Day to day duties normally include to follow instructions from the dentist and a practice manager.
People can usually work as trainee dental nurses without any academic qualifications but to progress to become a qualified dental nurse, they need to study for a course in dental nursing, either part or full time.
The course usually takes 12-18 months to complete, and students are required to pass two exams, theory and practical.
The NEBDN dental nurse course syllabus consists of 11 modules:
Module 1: Professionalism and the Role of the Dental Nurse. Aims of this module are to learn the roles and responsibilities of a dental nurse including their professional attitude, responsibility and to enable dental nurses to understand the importance of adhering to professional, ethical, legislative, and local policies relevant to working within the dental setting.
Module 2: Health and Safety. Aims of this module are to identify and manage risks and hazards in the workplace in line with current legislative frameworks, government policies and accepted good practice.
Module 3: Dealing with Medical Emergencies. Aims of this module are to provide appropriate support in emergency situations and understand the role of the dental team within these situations.
Module 4: General, Dental and Regional Anatomy. Aims of this module are to demonstrate an understanding of General, Dental and Regional Anatomy and the relevance to patients’ treatment needs.
Module 5: Oral Disease. Aims of this module are to demonstrate an understanding of common oral diseases, including oral cancer and their effect on the oral cavity.
Module 6: Prevention of Oral Disease. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and support the operator during a variety of preventative procedures.
Module 7: Assessment. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and the support of the operator during an oral health assessment. To demonstrate support during the taking of dental images, processing images, and maintaining quality in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
Module 8: Restorative Dentistry. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and support the patient and the operator during the provision of restorative procedures.
Module 9: Child Dental Health. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and support the patient and the operator during the provision of restorative and orthodontic procedures.
Module 10: Minor Oral Surgery. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and support the patient and the operator during the minor oral surgery.
Module 11: Pain and Anxiety Control. Aims of this module are to demonstrate the preparation of the dental environment and support the patient and the operator during the provision of pain and anxiety control.

TS ICET 2024 Hall Ticket Released: Steps to Download | Exam Schedule and Important Details

(CTN News) – The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will release hall tickets on May 31, 2024, to prepare for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test 2024 (TS ICET 2024). The release of the admit card, originally scheduled for May 28, has been postponed to May 31.

TS ICET hall ticket 2024: Steps to download
You must have a TS ICET admit card to appear for the exam. Please follow the instructions below to obtain a TS ICET admit card.
Step 1: Go to the official website of TS ICET at icet.tsche.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, click the TS ICET Hall Ticket 2024 link.
Step 3: Enter the requisite login information and click the “Submit” button.
Step 4: On the screen, you will see the admit card for TS ICET 2024.
Step 5: Review the details on the admit card, download and save it.
Step 6: Print the document and keep a hard copy for the TS ICET exam.
According to the TS ICET 2024 exam schedule, the first and second examination sessions will be conducted in two shifts on June 5. The first shift exam is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 12.30 p.m. The second shift exam will begin at 2:30 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m.
TSCHE will administer the Session 3 examination on June 6 in one shift, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The TS ICET examination will have multiple-choice questions, and candidates must select the correct answer from those provided.

NEET UG 2024 Answer Key Out: Check and Submit Objections by May 31

(CTN News) – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2024 will be released on May 30, 2024.
As part of the official website, candidates can access the NEET answer key by logging in at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. The NTA has also provided the candidates’ recorded answers and the answer key. Candidates must provide their application number and date of birth to access the answer key.
Candidates must submit objections to the provisional answer key by May 31. Each objection requires a payment of $200 per question. The answer key will be revised accordingly if the objections are found valid.
The panel of subject experts will verify the candidates’ challenges. If the challenge made by any candidate is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly and applied to all the responses.
The result will be prepared and declared in light of the revised Final Answer Key. A candidate will not be informed whether or not the experts have accepted his/her challenge. The experts will determine the final key after the challenge has been conducted. As stated in the NTA notice, no challenges will be accepted after May 31, 2024 (up to 11:50 pm).
